About

Anina Imhof, PT, DPT, PRPC

Dr. Anina is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Certified Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner. This means that through extensive advanced trainings and thousands of hours of direct treatment experience, she has earned the highest level of credentialing available in the area of pelvic health for all genders. Despite this specialized focus, she takes a holistic - whole body & mind - approach to care, knowing that structures in the pelvis can only be understood within the bigger picture, of how they’re working together with the body’s complex and interrelated systems.

Holistic approach to care

In addition to her physical therapy education based in principles of orthopedic manual therapy, Dr. Anina’s approach to care draws from deep roots in a lifetime of curiosity and study of the human body through dance, yoga and Pilates, nutrition, breathwork, energy healing, somatic embodiment practices, pain neuroscience, human resilience, and the study of trauma’s effects on the nervous system. She also had the privilege of spending 4 formative years, beginning in 2004, studying with shamanic elders in Arizona, where she came to learn a model for understanding the human experience as an woven fabric of our various aspects: Physical, Mental, Emotional, Spiritual, and Sexual ~ and that we are each affected by our relationship to community and environment.
